Meet Naomi
Naomi Maharaj is a women’s holistic health practitioner and educator specializing in Clinical Herbalism, Fertility Awareness & Natural Contraception, Holistic Pelvic Care™, NLP & Hypnosis, Ayurvedic and Arvigo™ Mayan Abdominal Bodywork, Energy Healing, Somatic Embodiment, and the ancient feminine healing arts.
She is devoted to supporting women feel more sovereign, empowered, vital & free in their bodies. At the heart of her work is Beauty Rewilding—a path to reclaim divine beauty & heal body image, a profoundly neglected area in women’s wellness.
Naomi also supports Women’s Health in an alternative, integrative practice, bridging the physical body with the energetic, psycho-somatic & spiritual dimensions of healing. With deep reverence for both modern medicine AND ancient, ancestral traditions, she guides each woman in reconnecting to her powerful womb, cyclical rhythms, and wild, feminine creative spirit—to awaken the deeply intuitive Medicine Woman within.
She currently resides on the coast of São Paulo, Brazil, supporting women virtually and in-person, with her 1:1 appointments, trainings & retreats.
𓇼 My Story 𓇼
My work simply would not exist without my story. It was through the lived experience and the challenging, but powerful initiations that I’ve been through that prepared me for my soul’s mission: to support women through this collective feminine awakening as we return to what is most sacred: our bodies, our planet, our hearts. The Divine Mother is at the heart of it all; her song moves through me daily, reminding me I am here in service to Her. My bone-deep spirituality and devotion to God/Goddess are inseparable from who I am, or the work that I do. This is me.
𓇼 Walking My Plant Path 𓇼
My story begins in South Florida where I was raised by my parents, two powerful medical doctors—my Trinidadian/Indian father, a visionary healer & entrepreneur, and my Brazilian mother, a deeply intuitive spiritual woman. Though I didn’t know it then, I was being prepared for a life where Science & Spirit would merge beautifully in my healing work.
As a young woman, I experienced many activations in my body that left me disillusioned with conventional medicine, which couldn’t answer the deeper questions I had about the female body. In my search for healing, I dropped out of university and turned to Clinical Herbalism, studying across the U.S., and in the process, reclaimed a part of my identity through my plant path. In learning from the medicines Mother Nature, I saw how happy I was and knew this was my destiny.
𓇼 My Dark Night of the Soul 𓇼
When I was 22, I was forced to confront an eating disorder & body dysmorphia that had eaten me from the inside since I was a teenager. I had no choice but to abandom my lifestyle as a vegan, and learn how to deeply nourish my body after a decade of restriction & control.
A few years later, I entered a 12-step program for codependency recovery for my mental health, and in this process, unearthed years of childhood trauma, healed chronic uterine pain, and transformed myself at the deepest level through deep somatic awakening and subconscious reprogramming. It was in this time that I discovered the medicine of emotional regulation and the intelligence of the body-mind. This was the deepest initiation I have been through, and the woman I am today could only be born from the fires of this dark night of the soul.
𓇼 Initiating into the Womb Mysteries 𓇼
The healing I experienced in my womb became the catalyst for a deeper devotion to this path. I trained in Arvigo® Mayan Abdominal Therapy, apprenticed in Ayurvedic Lymphatic Bodywork, and became a licensed massage therapist in Florida. Over the years, I continued to study with incredible teachers and lineages that shaped my integrative approach: Fertility Awareness and Natural Contraception; Holistic Pelvic Care™; NLP, Hypnosis and Timeline Therapy; and am currently exploring Psycho-somatics & Medical Astrology.
Each layer of this journey has allowed me to more fully support women in unraveling their somatic stories, reconnecting with the cyclical intelligence of their wombs, and restoring wholeness in body, mind, and spirit.
𓇼 Meeting the Medicine Woman Within 𓇼
In 2023, I made the huge soul leap and moved to Brazil, the lands of the orixás and the mermaids that my heart had longed to connect with since I was a teenager. This move opened a portal within my life, which asked me to step up and reclaim the “curandeira” within me. I chose to devote myself to deeper, spiritual studies in Cosmic Consciousness Reiki and Water Priestess work, expanding my energetic and spiritual gifts and facing my deepest fears. It is in walking the earth, learning from the plants, and swimming in the waters of my maternal homeland that my connection to Spirit deepens every day.
𓇼 The Birth of Beauty Rewilding 𓇼
The final piece of this story is where Beauty Rewilding became the lifeblood of my work. As I’d experienced eating disorders and body dysmorphia since I was a young teen, I deeply understood what the crippling lack of self-esteem, self-confidence and inherent worthiness felt like.
On a trip to my paternal homeland of Trinidad & Tobago in 2022, Spirit very clearly communicated to me that it is a part of my mission for me to support other women in shedding toxic, outdated beliefs around Beauty, and to plant seeds for a new Beauty paradigm in the world. For several years, the creative seed of this message was nourished within my womb, until one day, the vision crystalized, and my Beauty Rewilding work was born.
My Medicine For You…
My work weaves together Women’s Holistic Health, Pelvic Sovereignty, Womb Healing, and Beauty Rewilding — fertile ground for liberating the wild, feminine spirit. This liberation births healing, power, and joy, fed by the deep wellspring of Beauty within.
This is the story of a woman reclaiming her deep healing wisdom and awakening the inner Creatrix and Medicine Woman encoded in her bones. I truly believe it is in this place that the future of our world rests ~ the cosmic womb that lives within a woman’s pelvis.
I am deeply humbled to be able to work with women on their journeys of healing & self-reclamation, as I have been blessed with my experiences and education that I have received to serve women like you, and I take this responsibility seriously.
The spaces I hold are fed by the knowing that each woman is her own medicine mermaid, and that I am merely a guide, having walked the dark, winding path myself. And while we can walk it alone, it so much more supportive to experience this process with a loving, guiding hand. I am here to simply help you remember the depth of you power, sovereignty, and deep knowing. You are the medicine.
